1. Accessibility statement
VIEWMIUM aims to make its educational mobile, web and desktop experiences usable by people with disabilities. The product target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA for applicable web content and equivalent platform accessibility practices for native applications. This is a target, not a certification of complete conformance.
We work to support keyboard navigation, visible focus, screen-reader names and structure, scalable text, sufficient contrast, reduced motion, meaningful alternatives and communication that does not depend on color alone. Medical images create inherent limits: an alternative description cannot replace visual medical training or make an image suitable for patient care.
2. Supported surfaces
The accessibility baseline covers:
- iOS and iPadOS: VoiceOver labels and order, Dynamic Type where feasible, contrast, reduced motion and suitable touch targets.
- Android: TalkBack labels and order, font scaling, contrast, reduced motion and suitable touch targets.
- Web and desktop: keyboard access, visible focus, landmarks, headings, form errors, zoom and reflow.
- Medical images: textual case context and annotation labels where educationally meaningful, without claiming equivalence to image interpretation.
- Certificates and PDFs: readable text, contrast, a validation URL and tagged source where feasible.
3. Feedback and assistance
If you have difficulty using VIEWMIUM, contact support and describe the surface, device, assistive technology and task. Do not include patient information. We will investigate and offer a reasonable accessible alternative where feasible. Emergency or medical questions must not use this channel.
Accessibility requests are handled through the support page linked in the VIEWMIUM footer. We review the reported barrier and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.
4. Age eligibility
VIEWMIUM accounts and services are limited to people 18 years and older. The product is not directed to children and is not offered as a school-child service. A person who cannot legally agree to the Terms must not use the Service.
The contractual 18+ rule does not automatically determine an Apple or Google content rating. Store questionnaires must reflect the actual content and functionality, including graphic medical imagery, contributor content, AI and web access.
If VIEWMIUM learns that a person under 18 created an account, the account may be restricted and reviewed. Personal information should be deleted unless a lawful security, dispute or legal reason requires limited retention.
5. Testing and known limitations
Accessibility testing covers representative keyboard-only and screen-reader flows, text scaling, zoom and reflow, contrast, non-color communication, medical-image limitations and consistency of the 18+ rule across Terms, onboarding, stores, marketing and support.
6. Regional requirements
VIEWMIUM assesses regional accessibility requirements against the services offered in each market. This includes applicable United States disability law and, where relevant, requirements in the European Union, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
