1. Scope
These Rules apply to every use of VIEWMIUM, including accounts, AI, feedback, drawings, public contributor profiles, submission interfaces, support channels and attempts to access the Service. Contributors, reviewers and institutional users must also follow their separate agreements and editorial policies.
2. Patient data and medical safety
You must not:
- Upload, paste, transmit, expose or request processing of protected health information (PHI) or identifiable patient data.
- Attempt to re-identify a person from de-identified media or combine VIEWMIUM data with outside data to do so.
- Use VIEWMIUM for diagnosis, treatment, triage, urgency, patient monitoring, emergency care or a formal clinical report.
- Represent VIEWMIUM or AI output as approved medical advice or a substitute for a regulated system.
- Upload a clinical image through a consumer or AI feature.
- Bypass contributor quarantine, de-identification, peer review or publication controls.
3. Identity, professional status and profiles
- Impersonate a person or organization or create a misleading affiliation.
- Submit forged, altered, expired or unauthorized professional credentials.
- Misstate licensure, specialty, institution, authorship, contribution or conflicts of interest.
- Manipulate views, rankings, ratings, badges, certificates or verification status.
- Expose private verification material or reviewer information.
4. Unlawful, harmful and rights-infringing content
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or contractual rights.
- Submit illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, exploitative or malicious material.
- Publish another person’s personal data without a lawful basis and any required authorization.
- Use the Service to discriminate, harass, intimidate, sexualize, exploit or encourage physical harm.
- Introduce malware, credentials, secrets, hidden tracking or deceptive links.
5. AI, automation and data extraction
- Evade model, rate, entitlement, geographic or safety limits.
- Use prompts to extract system instructions, private data, credentials or restricted source material.
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, mirror or assemble a VIEWMIUM dataset without written permission.
- Train, fine-tune, benchmark or validate a model using VIEWMIUM content without a separate license.
- Automate account creation, views, feedback, ratings, certificate validation or reporting.
- Present AI-generated material as human-authored, peer-reviewed or clinically verified.
6. Security and service integrity
- Probe or exploit vulnerabilities outside an approved security-reporting program.
- Bypass authentication, role controls, quarantine, content status, store receipts or Premium entitlements.
- Overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service, networks or another user.
- Upload archives containing path traversal, symbolic links, active content or hidden identifiers.
- Use compromised credentials or access another account without authorization.
7. Reporting
Reports about possible patient identification receive the highest priority and must not redistribute the material. Medical or AI safety errors, abuse, copyright, security and privacy issues are routed to the relevant review process through the VIEWMIUM support and rights channels.
8. Enforcement and appeals
VIEWMIUM may warn, limit a feature, remove or quarantine content, restrict public visibility, revoke a badge or certificate, suspend an account, terminate access, preserve evidence or refer a matter where reasonably necessary. Decisions consider severity, risk, context, intent, repetition and legal duties. Egregious patient-data, safety, security, exploitation or fraud violations may result in immediate action.
Where required and safe, VIEWMIUM will provide reasons, duration and an appeal path. Appeals should be reviewed by a person not solely responsible for the original decision where practicable. Emergency removal may remain in effect during review.
