1. Legal notice
Questions about this Notice and requests concerning privacy, legal matters, support or security can be submitted through the support route linked from the VIEWMIUM site. The version and last-updated date appear on this page.
2. Request and complaint directory
The VIEWMIUM support route accepts the requests below and directs them to the appropriate review process. Do not include patient data, clinical images, public exploit details or identity documents unless a secure process specifically requests them.
- Account help and general support.
- Account deletion through in-app settings and the web deletion route.
- Privacy rights requests.
- Medical-content errors and possible patient identification.
- AI output reports.
- Copyright and other rights reports.
- Accessibility feedback.
- Security-vulnerability reports.
- Appeals of eligible decisions.
3. Privacy rights workflow
Authorized agents must show authority where permitted. VIEWMIUM will not discriminate against a person for exercising a right. Responses distinguish account data, public contributor material, verification records, editorial audit records, store transactions and de-identified content.
- Receive and classify the request by jurisdiction and right.
- Acknowledge the request and identify the applicable response period.
- Verify identity proportionately using existing account controls where possible.
- Search the mapped systems, vendors, storage and logs.
- Apply lawful exemptions and document the rationale.
- Respond securely, record completion and provide appeal or regulator information where required.
4. Account deletion
Users can initiate account deletion in the application or through the support route linked from the VIEWMIUM site. The deletion flow explains what is deleted, what may be retained and why, expected timing, and that store subscriptions require separate cancellation.
Deletion covers account access and sessions, approved identity fields, user-owned private objects, AI history and supported provider deletion, public-profile display and indexing, and the local entitlement link where lawful. Store records remain with the platform, while logs and backups age out under the approved schedule.
5. Medical, AI and content reporting
Possible patient identification is the highest-priority content route: restrict access, preserve minimal evidence, notify the medical-data escalation owner and do not expose the material in an ordinary support ticket. Medical accuracy and AI reports follow risk-based triage, correction and transparency procedures. Copyright and unlawful-content reports follow the dedicated policy.
6. Accessibility and security
Accessibility feedback follows the Accessibility and Age Eligibility document. Security researchers should use the support route linked from the VIEWMIUM site and include enough detail for the report to reach the security review process. Urgent security or privacy incidents must not be posted to a public issue tracker.
7. Law-enforcement and legal requests
Government and legal requests must use the support route linked from the VIEWMIUM site and clearly identify the requesting authority. VIEWMIUM will verify authority, scope, jurisdiction and legal validity; seek narrowing where appropriate; preserve only what is required; and notify affected users unless prohibited or unsafe. Emergency disclosure is not guaranteed and must satisfy applicable law.
8. Regional contacts
Where a region requires an additional point of contact, representative or complaint mechanism, VIEWMIUM will provide the applicable information and process for users in that region.
